Therapy can be a space to slow down, gain clarity, and move forward with more intention especially during times when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. I offer support for adults navigating experiences such as:
Changes in relationships, career, or identity can leave you feeling unsure of what comes next. This may include:
relationship shifts or endings
career changes or uncertainty
identity exploration or redefinition
navigating a new phase of life
Feeling Stuck or Overwhelmed
You may feel caught between where you are and where you want to be, unsure how to move forward. This can look like:
difficulty making decisions
overthinking or second-guessing yourself
feeling emotionally overwhelmed
lack of direction or clarity
Cultural & Identity-Related Experiences
For many clients, life transitions are shaped by cultural expectations, family dynamics, and identity. I offer a space to explore:
cultural and family expectations
multicultural identity experiences
navigating different environments or roles
the impact of lived experience on decision-making
Together, we focus on helping you find clarity and direction as you move through these changes. Our work is centered on understanding what’s keeping you stuck and building the steadiness needed to take next steps. This work is grounded in a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach.
greater clarity and confident decision-making
stronger self-trust
more emotional stability during change
a clearer sense of direction and alignment
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in the middle of a transition, our therapy space can help you begin moving forward with more clarity and support.
In addition to clinical therapeutic services, Courage Center offers coaching and consulting services designed for individuals who are not in crisis, are not seeking traditional therapy, but still want meaningful, high-quality support as they navigate life’s challenges.
These services are offered on a private pay basis, outside of insurance, allowing for greater discretion, flexibility and a more personalized, non-clinical approach. This work is especially suited for people who have the capacity to invest in their wellbeing, but may not always have access to the kind of grounded, trustworthy support or community that makes navigating hard moments feel less isolating.
Grounded in Indigenous African culture and relational principles, this space invites you to explore difficult emotions, clarify direction, and strengthen your ability to move forward with intention. Rather than focusing on healing past wounds, coaching centers on present experiences, helping you build awareness, make aligned decisions, and stay connected to yourself and others when things feel uncertain or heavy.
At its core, this is about companionship in the human experience: reducing isolation, deepening connection, and empowering you to engage life with greater clarity and confidence. If you're looking for a supportive, thoughtful partner to help you navigate complexity and find your way forward, you can learn more about coaching offerings here.
